When ordering these earrings, I had a free promotion for sausage dog earrings placed in my cart, apparently due to a website glitch. I figured it was a promotion being run so didn't question it. I was not informed of the web error until my package arrived without the second pair of earrings, and I emailed to ask where they were.
I was told I wasn't entitled to the second pair of earrings due to Short Story's own website error. It seems to me that this is their issue to sort out, and customers should be entitled to orders placed in good faith regardless of whether it was mispriced?
Suffice to say, although the bee earrings are adorable, I'm not very impressed by the lack of transparency or the refusal to honour the original order.
